The Nazi Congress (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Nuremberg, September 8. Over 20,000 Black Guardsmen are lining the streets of Nuremberg, which is filled with visitors for the Nazi Congress. The Government is spending £1,000,000 in transporting and accommodating the delegates, who include 70,000 officers and men of the Reichswehr. Another £1,000,000 will be spent in improving the congress headquarters. The conference will be the most lavish thus far held. “The Olympic train,” seen at the Berlin Olympiad, has been converted for anti-Bolshevik purposes. It is painted a lurid red, and the Olympic “goodwill” posters have been replaced with photographs of allegedly starving Communist children. The train will tour the town twice each day distributing anti-Communist literature. The Storm Troopers, who held the place of honour at the previous congress, have been given the cold shoulder, and will make only one appearance. Nuremberg, of Nurnberg, is Germany's most famous medieval city and has preserved its ancient character to a remarkable degree.
