SPORTING PEER FORCED TO ECONOMIZE
LORD LONSDALE TO FORGO DONCASTER RACES. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) London, September 8. The Earl of Lonsdale, for the first time since 1874, will not attend the Doncaster races because he has been seriously affected by the mining depression in West Cumberland, which has made it necessary for him to economize.
