RICH IN FISH
NORTH-WEST AUSTRALIAN WATERS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Tokio, October 31. Mr Shimoda, director of the Ministry of Agriculture’s Fisheries Bureau, recently surveyed north-west Australian waters which he reported to be ten times richer than the Hokkaido waters, especially in sea bream, Japan’s most popular fish. He recommended their exploitation, for which a trawler will shortly proceed on a trial voyage.
