WOOL FREIGHTS

UNDERCUTTING OF CHARGES. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Sydney, November 1. The Australian Producers’ Shipping Agency has announced that it is intended to undercut conference rates for the shipment of wool overseas. The Norwegian motor ship Brattdal will load wool for the United Kingdom and Continental ports at a 25 per cent, lower rate than the prevailing freight charge. If, the venture is a success other vessels will enter the wool trade at a lower rate.
