CAUGHT IN THE ACT

INTRUDER IN HOUSE. (Per United Press Association.) Wanganui, December 5. A burglar was surprised in the act by a well known Wanganui resident, Mr J. C. Richardson, to-night. Mr Richardson left his home in Brassey Road on St. John’s Hill at 10 p.m. to take a visitor home. He was absent some 10 minutes and on his return found that the kitchen window had been broken and glass was lying on the floor. A search was made and the intruder discovered in the bathroom. He was accosted by Mr Richardson and held there until the arrival of the police. He gave no trouble.
