’QUAKE AT TIMARU
WINDOWS RATTLE PERCEPTIBLY.
DURATION OF FEW SECONDS.
(Per United Press Association.) Timaru, November 5.
A pronounced earthquake shock was experienced at Timaru at 3.5 p.m. today. The shake, which lasted for a few seconds, was in the nature of upheavals, sufficient to cause windows to rattle perceptibly.
