P. AND O. COMPANY.

(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 8.40 p.m.) Calcutta, January 4. The Hon. Alexander Shaw, chairman of the P. and O. Line, speaking at a dinner in honour of Lord Brabourne, the new Governor of Bombay, said the company was laying down a large vessel with a speed greater than that of the Viceroy of India.
