TRAGEDY ON CANBERRA.

Whangarei, August 28. Accounts given by seamen ashore concerning the suicide of Petty Officer Flanagan on board H.M.A.S. Canberra, show that he was quite normal just before the incident. Then he went to the upper deck with a rifle concealed beneath his great coat, two shots being discharged before he died.
