“There will be a big harvest of. fruit in Australia this year and the problem confronting growers will be that of disposal. The embargo imposed on importations into New Zealand will heighten the difficulties, particularly where citrus fruits are concerned,” said Mr G. H. Holford, who had just returned from the Commonwealth. He added that he had been able to purchase oranges at two a penny.
