GERMAN VIEWPOINT
DISARMAMENT PROBLEM.
(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 23.
At Geneva to-day the British Foreign Secretary, Sir John Simon, had conversations with M. Paul Boncour and afterwards with the German Foreign Minister, Baron von Neurath.
A message from Berlin states that Baron von Neurath in an article in the Press insists that it would be useless for Germany to participate in the disarmament negotiations if the results do not apply equally to all Powers. It is not a question of Germany wanting to arm, but of other countries’ refusal to disarm.
