THE RIVERTON CAMP.

To the Editor.

Sir.—ln reply to “Old Settler” I crave a little space in reference to our so-called Labour leaders who are going about the country stirring up strife, instead of assisting the Government in improving conditions. One has reported the conditions of the single men’s camp as a “prison camp.” I have had an interview with one of the men from that camp and he tells me that the difference between the late cook and the new one is as black from white. If our so-called Labour leaders would only’ take the trouble to look before they leap they may sleep a little better when they go to bed, for apparently they dream a lot.—l am etc., DARBY.

P.S. I am Labour to the bone.
