HERD TESTING
NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, June 23. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Group Herd-Testing Association elected the following officers: Chairman, Mr Dynes Fulton; management committee, Messrs F. Alton (Hamilton), G. R. Herron (Southland!, J. Parlane (Christchurch), G. H. Bell (Oakura), W. Dougal (Dannevirke), P. W. Hill (Dargaville), W. J. Law (Bay of Plenty) ; representatives on the Central Executive, Messrs Fulton, Herron, Bell and Hill; auditor, Mr G. S. Crimp (Hamilton). The chairman said it appeared that the -next two years would be difficult for farmers and it was probable that some would economize on herd-testing. It was his intention to seek support from the Dairy Board and from the National Dairy Associa, lion at its conference at New Plymouth this week.
