MURDERER’S REQUEST
ASKS TO DIE. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Paris, October 17. Conrad Koch, who last .March shot a gunsmith in his Paris shop for the purpose of robbery, and was sentenced to imprisonment, appealed twice to have the sentence one of death instead. He declares that thinking over the crime, he does not see why he should not die. Thus far the authorities have not met his wish.
