MATRICULATION

EXAMINATION OF PAPERS.

(Special to the Times.) Wellington, July 23.

In the House to-day Mr A. Hamilton (Wallace) gave notice to aek the Minister of Education if he will have an inquiry made into the system of examining matriculation examination papers and make a statement with a view to establishing more confidence in the minds of both candidates and parents that the examination papers are receiving sufficient consideration from competent examiners.
