COLLISION AT SEA
KAITUNA HELD RESPONSIBLE.
(Rec. 10.5 p.m.)
Melbourne, April 16
The Marine Court found that the collision between the Selje and the Union Company's Kaituna on Good Friday night was due to negligence, Articles 18 and 28 of the Collision Regulations having been disregarded by the master and third officer of the Kaituna, which was alone blameworthy. Great praise was given to the masters of both vessels for their behaviour after the collision. —Australian Press Association.
