LAND SETTLEMENT
SCHEME FOR WESTERN AUSTRALIA,
(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, June 25. The Colonial Secretary, Mr Amery, replying to a question in Parliament said that preliminary discussion had taken place with the former vice-chairman of the Development and Migration Commission of the Commonwealth of Australia, now in London, and he understood a proposal would shortly be made for the development of a land settlement scheme for Western Australia.—British Official Wireless.
