BUTTER FOR EXPORT
SUCCESS OF VACUUM PROCESS. London, June 25. An experimental shipment of 20 tins of Taranaki butter by the steamship Devon under the vacuum process, similar to that of cheese, turned out in splendid condition. Experts consider that the type of container is inconvenient, and suggest that a new form is necessary before the process can be successful.—Australian Press Association.
