INTERESTING LECTURE

THE GREAT PYRAMID. FULFILMENT OF PROPHECY. A lecture on the Great Pyramid of Gizeh was delivered by the Rev. P. H. Pritchett to a large and attentive audience in the Y.M.C.A. last evening. In the course of the evening the lecturer mentioned that the pyramid was believed to have been built by Melchizedek two decades before Abraham. It covers 13 acres, is 480 feet high, is two-thirds of a mile round and has a content of 3,000,000 cubic feet, the only building in the world with perfect Orientalism. It was built with such skill and accuracy that it discloses the diameter of the earth, precession of the Equinoxes and upholds Einstein’s recent theory of relativity. Inside the pyramid are several passages which would lead one to believe that it contained the sarcophagus of Pharaoh and his queen, but this has been found to be incorrect. The lecturer explained the significance of the passages and how they had a direct bearing on the British nation, past, present and future. As shown by the passages, he also said that the British nation was on the eve of troublous times covering a period of a few years not necessarily local, but trouble of a national character. To prove his statement he quoted many passages of Scripture and convincing chronological data. At the conclusion of the meeting Mr A. H. Stott moved a vote of thanks to the lecturer.
