OBITUARY
MR C. E. MONTAGUE. London, May 28. Mr C. E. Montague, the author, is dead. He was aged 61. He was director of the Manchester Guardian. He served in the army in France, Belgium and Germany 1915-19, and was thrice mentioned in despatches. Mr Charles Edward Montague was a governor and honorary graduate of the university of Manchester. He served in the Army in France, Belgium and Germany from 1915 to 1919, and was thrice mentioned in despatches. Among his better known books were “A Hind Let Loose,” “Disenchantment,” “Rough Justice,” and “Fiery Particles.” RAJAH OF PUDUKOTA. London, May 28. The Rajah of Pudukota, aged 54, died at i Paris, after two operations.—Australian ! Press Association. H.M.
