THREE YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT IMPOSED. Darwin, June 13. The three aborigines concerned in the attack on the Crocodile mission were each sentenced to three years’ imprisonment. The judge said discipline was necessary at missions and punishment for certain offences was justified.—A. and N.Z. The three aborigines who had been employed at the mission were concerned in an attack on one of the missionaries when spears were thrown. At the trial it was stated by the blacks that they had been beaten with a stockwhip.
