SPRINGHILLS NOTES

EUCHRE PARTY AND DANCE. (From Our Correspondent.) The first of a series of weekly euchre parties and dances was successfully held in the Springhills Hall on May 4th. Upwards of 40 people took part in the game of cards, which was capably controlled by Mr. F. Smith and Mr. W. Templeton. The honours of the game went to Miss May Anderson (ladies), and Mr. T. Hinkley (gents). A very* enjoyable supper was passed round, and proved very acceptable. The floor was then cleared and a very enjoyable dance was held, the music for which was supplied by Messrs E. King, F. Smith and A. Millar. Mr. F. Smith made an efficient M.C.
