RESTORING THE FRANC
A GENEROUS GIFT
£10,000,000 FREE OF INTEREST
(Rec. 8.20 p.m.) London, September 3. The Morning Post’s Brussel’s correspondent states that Alfred Lowenstein, a Belgian financier, has placed £10,000,000 at the disposal of the Government for several years free of interest to assist in the restoration of the franc. Lowenstein possesses his own aeroplane fleet and keep his business a strict secret.—A. and N.Z.
