LONDON TO MARSEILLES.
(Rec. 8.30 p.m.) London, September 3. The Postmaster-General states that tests have shown that the new Friday morning air mail from London to Marseilles has invariably connected with the Australian mail steamers from Marseilles, thus giving English correspondents twelve hours advantage over the land route. It will also materially Help the Empire Airways scheme.—A. and N.Z.
