EARNING £36 A WEEK,

London, September 3. Jean Baptist!, who was found dead in a flat, travelled as the “Girl With the Fiddle” and “The Girl with the Magnetic Eyes.” She appeared on the stage barefoot and dressed in rags, and played the violin. A theatrical agent states he found her in the chorus of a revue, getting fifty shillings weekly. She secured better engagments and toured Australia in the latter part of 1918, receiving £36 a week.
