‘MURDERED” MAN RETURNS TO LIFE SENSATION IN ITALIAN COURTHOUSE. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) ROME, December 22. (Received December 23, 7.15 pjn.) The Jury at Naples had just found a peasant named Sabatino guilty of the murder of a missing butcher, with whom he had quarrelled, when the latter rushed in to Court. The butcher explained that during a fight accused knocked him senseless and he then suffered loss of memory and strayed away. He only recovered that day, when he first learned of the trial. The Judge adjourned the case for the purpose of the butcher’s identification.
