DOMINION MUSEUM

GOVERNMENT SUBSIDY INCREASED. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, November 6. Following on the request by a deputation in July, the Government has increased the subsidy towards the Dominion Museum and Art Gallery from £75,000 to £lOO,OOO. The question of site however, has yet to be settled, and also that of the main building under a control beard. The subsidy is dependent on collection of public subscriptions.
