A HORRIBLE DEATH

CAUGHT IN REVOLVING MACHINERY. MELBOURNE, June 23. Carl Holtz, son of the general manager of the newspaper Argus, was killed through becoming entangled in machinery at the Mount Lyall Mining Company’s works at Footscray, where he was employed as a commercial chemist. His clothing caught in the belting and he was whirled around the shafting, sustaining dreadful injuries. He died in a few hours. He wtj aW 27 years.
