According to the Wakatip Mail, Mr D. F. Murchison, who recently purchased Hotel Eichardt from Mr Van Paine, has leased the property to Mr Thos. Rutherford, who has successfully managed both the Grand and Club Hotels, Invercargill, for some years. Mr Murchison will probably take up residence in Southland’s capital.
