FIRES
OUTBREAK AT TRENTHAM RACECOURSE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 18. A fire at Trentham racecourse destroyed 24 loose boxes. It broke out at 6 p.m. on Sunday and spread rapidly. The cause is unknown. The buildings are all well insured, but the fire happening so soon before the winter meeting will be embarrassing to trainers, who will have to use private boxes.
