(Received June 17, 5.5 p.m.' Another sensational series ol Wall Street failures has occurred with the bankruptcy of a 70-year-old firm, Knauts Nachod anil Kuhne with liabilities of 11,000,000 dollar! Whereas the recent, failures affected firms which were members of the ‘'Curb" or consolidated exchanges the Knauts firm was a member of the Stock Exchange doing a large foreign as well as domestic business Thus its collapse is more far reaching and important in effect.
