The Postmaster-General has announced that an agreement has been reached on all the broadcasting points raised by the recent conference, excepting the regulation respecting wave-lengths. When this is agreed on the proposals will be immediately submitted to Cabinet for its approval. MELBOURNE, June 16. Following the request of the wheatgrowers of New South Wales and South Australia, the Commonwealth has agreed to finance a voluntary wheat pool next wheat harvest. MELBOURNE, June 16. In the Federal House of Representatives the Opposition continued the debate on the censure motion, and threatened to use all known obstructive tactics to prevent the early closing of Parliament. The House adjourned till Tuesday. MELBOURNE, June 16. The special board has recommended that the Irish envoys be deported. Cabinet has not yet announced its decision, but it is understood that intermediaries are at work with the object of inducing the envoys to leave before being compelled to. BRISBANE, June 16. Mr Theodore has wired Mr Bruce on behalf of the sugar growers, seeking modification of the Commonwealth’s proposals in the direction of ensuring a certain price—£27 a ton —for two years, with a tribunal to determine the price in the third year. PERTH, June 16. There is no further word of the Treveses.
