WARREN’S ARREST
A DAMAGING LETTER. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) PARIS, May 2. (Received May 3, 5.5 p.m.) Scotland Yard has given from the police a piece of damaging evidence against Warren. It consists of a letter written by an Englishman named Ford from Sante Prison to his “dear old pal,” informing Warren of his arrest and asking him to send immediately an International money order for £l4 to cell 63, Sante Prison. The letter was addressed to Cannon Street Post Office, I* ord being unaware that Warren was at that time in an adjoining cell. Thus Ford was revealed as one of Warren’s gang.
