MILLIONAIRE ATTACKED

(Received May 3, 8.50 p.m.) A Syrian maniac silk weaver, with a huge knife attempted to assassinate John D. Rockefeller, Jun., many times millionaire in his own right, as the latter was about to step out of a motor at- his office. Four guards, after a struggle, overcame the assailant who was taken to hospital for observation.
