THE E.F.C.A.'s CLAIMS. A TAUMARUNUI RESOLUTION. (Per United Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI, June 24. The Taumarunui branch of the Engine drivers’, Firemen’s, and Cleaners’ Association met and considered the present position in regard to the final -settlement of the recent strike. Speakers considered that unless the matter was dealt with on the lines of the conciliation tribunal's decisions, there was every possibility of further trouble. It was: resolved; ‘That this brunch of the E.F. C.A. considers that the finding of the conciliation tribunal should become the con ditions under which work is to continue.”
