Received December 30, 10.50 p.m. A cable message received this morning from the head office, London, slates that the Marconi Company lias brought to a successful conclusion its action in tlie French Courts against the Compagnle General Radio Telegraphique and Sociele Francaise Radio Electrlque, and others, for infringement of the Marconi "master tuning" patent. The Marconi patent was declared valid by the Courts, and an injunction was granted against the defendants. The Courts also ordered that the defendants' apparatus be confiscated, and that they pay damages and costs. The subject of the action was the French equivalent of English "Four Senvens" Marconi patent, which was upheld and declared valid by the High Court in England. It was also the subject of a successful action by the Marconi Company in America.
