The Moorish Minister of War, Menelehi, with eight Krupps and four Maxims, attacked the Pretender's front ; the Beduvarian tribe, whose allegiance had been secured the previous day. assailing the Pretender's rear. A stubborn fight lasted three hours, then the rebels fled towards Teza, the troops pursuing- with the intention of punishing the disloyal.
