Hobart, 27th—Wind, N.E. ; bar 30 0 ; cloudy. Sydney, 28th—Wind, N.E. ; bar 29'8); cloudy. The following is the weather report from N.Z. stations at 5 p.m. to-day :— Manakau Heads —Wind, N.E, fresh; bar 30'13; thermo 61 ; gloomy ; sea smooth. New Plymouth—Wind,JW, light; bir 30 04; thermo 62 ; fine ; sea smooth. Castle Point-Wind S.E., light; bar 30'17 ; thermo 54 ; gloomy ; sea moderate. Wellington—Wind, S., light; bar 3010; thermo 57; fine. Westport—Wind, west, light ; bar 30'10 ; thermo 59 ; fine ; sea smooth. Kaikoura—Wind, N.E. light; bar 30'26; thermo. 57 ; overcast; sea smooth. Oamaru—Calm ; bar 30'18; thermo 60 ; fine; sea moderate. Bluff—Calm; bar 30 16; thermo 60; fine. Moderate winds from between south and east and north-east are to be expect el southward of East Cape, Taupo, and Raglan, with rising barometer and tine weather, but a falling barometer and strong winds to a gale from the eastward in the northern districts, probably with rain.
