WELLINGTON JOTTINGS.
Mr A. L. Wilson, formerly in business in Invercargill, as a partner in the firm of Wilson, Taine & Co., auctioneers, has been settled in Wellington for some time in partnership with Mr T. Kennedy McDonald. Mr Frank Tipping, formerly of Invercargill, is now engaged in relieving duty iu the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington. Mr Sydney Hall, an old Invercargill boy, has a good dental practice in Wellington.
Mr Seddon’s Ministerial residence is a plain, unpretentious but sub-stantial-looking building situate near Parliament House. Sir Joseph Ward occupies the large and handsome Ministerial dwelling in Tinakori Road, which, with its nicely laid out grounds and shrubbery, is the most attractive of Ministerial houses in Wellington.
