INVERCARGILL HORSE MARKET.

Messrs J. A. Mitchell and Co. report that on Saturday the principal sales were, a solid 5-year old draught gelding, which realised £4B, two others £36 and £3B respectively. For lighter and aged sorts there was only moderate inquiry, and these sold up to £3O ; old and stiff, down to £5. Hacks and light horses —nothing very good forward. A useful 4-year old harness horse brought £l6 ; others, of inferior grade, down to £4.
