GORE NOTES.
Tbe Gore Rifles parade for Government Inspection on Tuesday, 14th and 28th June, the Tuesday between being devoted to recruit drill. The officers and non-commissioned officers of this company have decided to give prizes for the best drilled sections in the corps, and also for most efficient man in each section. The prizes are to be awarded at the end of the current volunteer year. The object aimed at is to cause a healthy rivalry amongst the sections and popularize the parades as much as possible.
