Another of a series of basket hall games was played at> the Shannon School ground on Saturday between repr-estMiatlvo teams from Levi'n and Shannon. The Levin teams we. o in charge of Misses Connor and Chambers,, whilst Miss Sinclair and Miss Williams were in charge of the home school teams. After a spirited' contest, Levin A heat Shannon A by 12 to 8. The B team contest rosuhed in a win for Shannon by 4 to 2, -Miss. Connor and Miss Jones able controlled The games. After the match Miss Motiershead thanked the Shannon Club for the good time accorded them and the visitors gave cheers for Shannon. Miss Sinclair suitable responded and called for cheers for Levin. On Friday next the Shannon leant will journey lo Foxton to play a return match and on Saturday the Levin Convent teams will try conclusions with the local team at. Shannon.
