(By Telegraph.) Otago Acclimatisation Society, DUNEDIN, July 25. At a meeting of tbe Council of tbe Acclimatisation booiety the manager reported that tbe parent salmon in stock for some time were not so prolific this year, and in view of their becoming fewer he thought it might be wise to give them their liberty. Tbe young salmon, ex the Kaikoura, were not doing so well as could be wished, a considerable number of them dying from de< fortuity of tbe umbilical sac. A resolution was carried that the export in a frozen state of any game whatever should be prohibited, and that tbe law should be so amended as to entirely prevent dealing with native or imported game, frozen or otherwise, out of season. i
