Appreciative nTv/fioii was maclo of the services of Mr McGechie as referee. Mr McGtechie does not leave his scholastic duties till 2 p.m., so his Saturday's dinner is either a moving repast, or else a fast. The chairman also commented on the unselfishness of the Matakana players travelling to Warkworth for every event. Mr Braithwaite in reply, stated the Matakana boys offered to make the journeys as a solace for their inability to put two teams in the field. He was glad that everything was turning out so satisfactory. On the motion of Mr Linkhorn, it was decided to ask the Auckland Association, as to the possibility of arranging a trip for a senior B team. It was also resolved, on Mr Braithwaite's motion to give an invitation to the Ponsonbv club to send a team.
