TAIHAPE A. & P. SHOW.

The annual show of the Rangitikei A. and P. Association was held at Taihape on Wadnesaay, 26th inet., in perfect weather.

The most noticeable feature was the increase in the naater of cattle exhibited, which may he taken as an indication that the farmers of this districtjare no longer regarding sheep-farming es the ‘only lucrative form of stock-rising. Sheep, as usual, were largely exhibited, and the sm*ll number of other breeds exhibited indicated very clearly vhat Romney Marsh sheep are nost generally favoured. The farm produce and home industries sections were again a pleasing feature, and in regard to the former it was shown that his district mast be noted for a soil of great fertility.

Tlifi numerous side-shows were well patronised throughout the day, and proceedings were enlivened for the large crowd by the musio supplied by the Taihape Municipal Hand.
