HOSPITAL SHIP RETURNS.

Per Press Association. Auckland, Jan. 31. Twenty-eight cot cases are included in the contingent that {arrived, to-day. They have been reduced from 225 at tho commencement fo the voyage. Two hundred have sustained severe leg and arm wounds, about twenty having lost tho use fo one eye. Pulmonary cases totalling -10 predominate amongst the sick cases. Two deaths occurred on th i voyage. Lieut. H. Simson, of the Royal Flying Corps, died on January 11th. His father resides in 11 iwke’s Bay. Private E. Martin, of Temuka, died this morning. Both were buried at sea. The home-comers were welcomed by Sir .Joseph Ward and Mayor Crimson.
