STRIKES IN BERLIN
BIG FACTORIES CLOSED. Amsterdam,.Tan. 20. Strikers in Berlin numbered 100,000, including many women. The German Electric Company’s mammoth works are closed. Strikes have occurred also at Krnpp’s coalmines at Bochun, a torpedo factory at Keil and the Germania shinvard.
Admiral Von Capello lias gone to Wilhemshaven to urge the workers at the naval yards to remain at 'work; otherwise they will be guilty of treason.
