Macphesou, Under Secretary, stated that tho Imperial and Dominion Governments were sympathetically considering the question of issuing a medal or decoration to tho troops who p rticipated in the operations onXLllipoli, but no decision was yet reached. The question, lie said, was extremely difficult, involving a good cloil of interviewing and correspondence with the various Governments concerned.
