The Government has raised the point that while Turkey has accepted the Powers' arbitration tho Allies have accepted nothing beyond mediation. Gieece insists on an amendrnent in the draft treaty to secure the settlement ■of Albania, the -Slgean Islands, • and Mount Athos by the Powers and the Allies jointly.
SIR EDWAKD GREY'S MESSAGE TO KING NICHOLAS. Cettinje, May B.' Sir Edward Grey has sent au appreciative mesage to King Nicholas on his decision, which, he says, was as much in the interests of European peace as in Montenegro's interests.
