ANNUAL WEST COAST RAM FAIR.
0 AT FEILDING. For many years the Earn Fairs held, on the West Coast of the North Island (Manawatu,' etc.), have not been satisfactory to either the auctioneers conducting the sales, vendors or buyers. Recognising this fact conferences between the auctioneers operating in the Manawatu centre, and Manawatu and Feilding ' A. and.P. Associtaions have been held with the result that it has been decided to centralise the fair, and hold theaa at Feilding anfl Palmerston North only, in alternate years. The?first of these be held in Feilding on tbo two days immediately following Feilding Show, Thursday and Friday, 6th and 7th February, 1913, and will be conducted by Feilding A. and P. Association. Entries close on Tuesday, January 21st, 1913, the fees being 2s per head for stud ewes and flock rams, and os for stud ramS. All entries must be made with the secretary of Feilding A. and P. Association (Mr E. H Fisher) aud_ accompanied with necessary fees. The fair in 1914 will be held inPalmerston on the two days immediately following Feilding Show. The Romney Marsh Sheepbreeders’ Association have decided to hold their annual stud ram fair on first day of Feilding’Show, Thursday, February 6th. should be made with the secretary, Mr E. J. , W.ackrill. , As Feilding A. and P. Association is confident that this centralisation will meet the approval of vendors and buyers, entries should be very large.
