Press Association. W M OANUI, July IC. This morning the Aotea Maori Laud Board opened tenders and held a ballot for sections in several native blocks between Raetihi and Wan? ganui river. The total area offered was 29,787 acres, varying from 340 to 775. There were 60 applicants for Sfj sections, toalliug 23,300 acres, Tliij;? teen sections were not applied fop but will probably bo taken up by unsuccessful tenderers. The upset rentals for the 30 sections taken total £065, the tendered rentals being £834. '
